September
Go Ride Presentation evening. Evening to recognise the efforts
of the participants of the Go Ride Sessions at Wordsley School.
We will also have a demonstration of Roller Racing. Small
bikes will be available to borrow so young riders can also
‘have a go’. Any riders planning to ride the winter
roller racing league who would like to practise should also
bring their bikes along.
Monday 6th October
Roller Racing League. We will be running an informal roller
racing league on the first Monday of the month throughout
the winter. A good way to work up a sweat and keep some speed
in your legs over the winter months. Small bikes will be available
for young riders to borrow.
Monday 20th October
Pat and Keiths ‘off-piste’ in Nepal. Photos and
stories from their cycling adventure earlier in the year.
Monday 3rd November
Roller Racing League. As above.
Monday 17th November
My VIP trip to the last stage of the Tour de France. Young
Jack Austin shares photos and experiences from this very special
trip as a guest of Tony Doyle.

Monday 15th December
How to change an inner tube. Annual favourite lesson in tube
changing. Bring your own wheel, tyre levers and pump. Persuade
that clubmate who always takes ages (when it is cold and raining)
to attend.
Monday 22nd December
Quiz and Mince Pies evening. Popular annual quiz. Bring along
mince pies and festive refreshments to share.
