Report 21^st January 2007

The Paytons’ joined the West Midlands team for the inter-county cyclo-cross championships on Sunday 21^st January near to Budleigh Salterton in Devon.

Tom rode with the seniors for the first time, also the longest he has raced for and was 23^rd overall.West Midlands team came 5th. Hannah was 32^nd against some tough competition, in the youths, West Midlands team was 5th, winner was Michael Butler, the current National Champion.

Kevin rode well with the vets and finished 8^th, West Midlands were the 4^th team. The vets race was won by the Wales team.

Clubruns have made a good start for 2007. The Saturday off-road ride has been attracting around 18 riders each week, the 0830 ride numbers are up, average for Saturdays over the last 8 weeks is 6 riders, Sunday rides average is over 9 riders over the same time period.

Touring rides are attracting around 16 riders.
