Isla on The Podium

Stourbridge C.C. got its second medal of The National Championship Cyclo Cross, with Isla winning her first Gold Medal in the over 40's Vets Ladies event. Well done Isla, with another Jersey to go with her World Masters. Tom Payton pulled out of the Under 23's event, racing below his usual form and not feeling well at all. Tom peaked for the postponed "Snow Champs", and unfortunatly never regained his potential. Well done Tom for getting as far as he did this season, a fine effort over many weeks of hard racing.

A great end to the season, well done to Isla and all who performed. Some superb racing was seen this weekend, a lot of friends seen in the crowd - and a lot of crowd!

Congratulations Isla. A superb achievement particularly after the postponement and your interrupted preparations. You always earn your success and you're a brilliant role model for all young riders (and us old ones too!!) Well done.
