Leather Bottoms

I have noticed a number of club members using the famous Brooks Saddles and have been curious about investing in leather for my delicate rear. Wondering if it would be a waste of money, I was very interested to see an article in Cycling Active at Christmas which sung the praises of a cheaper alternative at Spa Cycles - http://www.spacycles.co.uk/products.php ... 668&i=3286 I bought one of these and stuck it on my turbo bike to break it in. So far so good. Weighs a ton mind you. However, I will look forward to using it on my touring bike which already weighs 14 tons. Anyway, may be worth consideration if you want to try out leather but are put off by the price at Brooks. Incidentally, I didn't feel too guilty as Brooks is no longer owned by locals since being bought out by a foreign company.
